MAD Sports Hub vs Exposure Events
Exposure Events publishes its pricing, which is rarer in this market than it should be, and the model is genuinely cheap at the scheduling end — $2.00 per visible team means a 100-team event costs $200 to schedule. It is built around scheduling, registration and an event directory, and the directory is a real distribution advantage if your teams already look for events there. What it is not is a website. You get an event listing and, on the paid tier, a custom domain; a site that represents your organisation across a season of events is a separate purchase, and that is where the two products stop overlapping.
How Exposure Events charges. Scheduling $2.00 per visible team. Registration free — you pay only the merchant fee. EventStore adds a 1% Exposure fee on top of processing. Custom domain free the first year, $100/yr after.

Last reviewed: September 2026. Figures are what the sources below published on that date and we have not independently audited them — check directly before you commit to anything. Our own pricing is on the pricing page and every figure we quote is the start of a published range, so it is the cheapest version of us rather than the only one. We do not use competitor logos.
When Exposure Events is the better fit
If your teams already find events through the Exposure directory, that distribution is worth more than anything on our side of the table, and at $2.00 a team the scheduling is cheaper than we are by a wide margin. Pick them if the job is running events efficiently and you do not need an organisation site — and honestly, if you run two events a year, that is most directors.
Switching
Entries, divisions and team contacts export cleanly, and the natural time to move is between seasons rather than mid-event. You can also keep them: a number of organisations run scheduling where it already works and use their own site for everything a directory listing cannot do — the season story, the sponsors, and the pages that rank for your event name.
You own your domain, your content and your data, and you can export it any time. Before anything else we build you a free mockup of your event’s site — no cost, no obligation. Like it, we talk. Don’t, and you keep the design.
Questions
Is Exposure Events cheaper than you?
For scheduling, yes, and substantially. $2.00 per visible team against our setup fee and flat monthly is not a close comparison, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The comparison only shifts when you also need an organisation website, because that is a separate purchase on their side and included on ours.
Do either of you take a cut of entry fees?
We take 0% of your registrations — you keep your own processor, so your card fees are whatever Stripe charges you, same as anyone. We just do not add a platform cut on top. Exposure charges merchant fees only on basic registration, with a 1% Exposure fee on EventStore transactions.
Can we use both?
Yes, and some organisations should. The directory listing and the organisation site do different jobs, and there is no technical reason to pick one.
